Torque Exploration - 20 Points
Objective: Create 3 unique placements of masses on a meterstick, so that the meterstick
remains balanced.
For each placement calculate where the mass should be placed in order to balance the meterstick.
Verify that your calculation is correct by placing the masses on the meterstick.
You must have two trials with 2 masses on one side of the pivot poiny and one mass on the opposite side.
You cannot use identical masses on both sides of the fulcrum
You must write a formal lab report (Title, Purpose, Procedure, Labeled Diagram of one set up, Calculations for each set up). You may collect data with 1 other person. Each person must turn in their own lab report.
